U know how in winter it gets so cold and u think u will never be hot again and in summer it gets so hot u think u will never be cold again I think that is how it is with ur feelings like when u r sad u think u will never be happy and when u r happy u think u will never be sad. But u will be hot again and u will be cold again and u will be sad again but most of all u will be happy again
so despite of being busy with our school, we managed to attend this event last Saturday, held at Filinvest tent, along Northgate Alabang. Ma’am. Cabalfin Asked us if we could attend to this event, and since we saw Dir. Paul is going to teach us some tips on becoming a director, so why not? hahahaha! and beside, it’s paul soriano. lol, and it’s for our speech and stage arts also.
so the exact time to be there is 8am, but unfortunately I came late, around 10 something at naligaw pa ako, coz’ I’m not familiar with streets at alabang. so I called Johmaila, who’s at the event already, to fetch me up at Vivere, but she refused to fetch me, since the sun is really hot. nagtanong tanong nalang ako. after 30 minutes I reached the Filinvest tent and waited for harven outside. then when I saw harven, we go inside na sa tent and registered. mind you it’s free snack and lunch. hihi <3
food stub. wasn’t able to take pictures of the food, I don’t know, I just forgot. haha.
then ayun nga they started already. and for my first lecturer is Dir. Zig Dulay. he lectured us some of the script writing and screenplay process. pero hindi ko na din siya naumpisahan. then Ms. Ida Tiongson the one who filmed the Pedro Calungsod lectured us how to film sustainability, I wasn’t that interested, so we went outside to grab our free lunch.
my name tag :)
and yes, I would like to tell you, that this is my favorite part of the workshop. Sir. Jessie Lasaten taught us how to write music in your film, and man!! Sir. Jessie’s music is really good. ang sarap sa pandinig. he categorized his music according to the scene. and it was awesome..
the next lecturer is Joey Paras. little did I know siya yung bida sa movie na “Bekikang” I saw a poster of it at cinema. and then this part was such a funny part. Sir. Joey Paras asked us if he can borrow 3 people who loves to act. and then these guys raised there hand and they’re about to act “Ate pahingi naman ng piso” in different ways of acting. funny, because si ate na nasa gitna nalaglag sa stage and we choose her as the best actress hahaha. lol
johmaila had the chance to have picture with sir. joey paras. he just need to go for his shoot that day so nauna na siya umuwi.. next lecturer is Dir. Paul Soriano, I have a picture but my laptop wasn’t cooperating with me and this buddy, acting so weird lately.
my classmate who became my subject for my own photography sheesh that day. lol. because we got so bored inside the lecturer room.
and yes si paul soriano lumabas na. at sa sobrang daming nag papicture, nahuli na kami at medyo sneek pa lol.
the actual picture with paul sorian at mind you he put his hands around my shouldre hahaha. lol.
photoshoot sa booth :)
we did a little photoshoot outside the tent and it was fun to have a shoot with your classmate.
they enjoyed too as my subject :)
with sir. dan villegas who discussed about cinematography. I wan’t that interested. so tumambay nalang kami sa may kainan dun sa tent, then waited for our photobooth photos and certificate.
and yey! the certificate. I was so excited to get this because Ma’am. Cabalfin said that we can use this in the future if we are going to apply for a work.
I really did enjoy this workshop, even though it’s not my path to make a film but we join the student film making contest. and of course the highlight of this event is Direct. Paul soriano. hahahaha lol.
